Pro Road Race Info
2010 Map (PDF)
How many cycling races in Michigan can boast a course that is over
100 miles in length? Some courses require several laps to achieve 100 miles
in distance. Here in Mt. Pleasant we are going to send you on your way
from the Start/Finish line and you won’t cross the line again until
you’ve completed the entire 106 miles out across Isabella County,
through several of our unique communities, over some challenging hills,
face first into some brutal headwinds, and around some tight corners. Do
you have what it takes to be the King of the Mountain? We do offer some
great hills on the west side of the County that will separate the men
from the boys. Do you have a need for speed? Then gear up for our (3)
Sprint Zones spread across the course. While you’re riding don’t forget
to take in the great scenery as you make your way across Isabella
County.

Resort, and south into Shepherd. Fly
through the streets of downtown Shepherd and Winn before making your way back up
around into Mt. Pleasant where you will experience the same final
straightaway as the pros as you make your final sprint to the Finish
Line.
Criterium Race Info

Here
is a race that has something for everyone. It is conveniently located in
Downtown Mt. Pleasant. We have set up a relatively flat course designed
for speed with nice long straight-aways, a few fast corners, and an
exciting Start/Finish Line placement that will have racers taking the
final corner with everything they’ve got. The Downtown Criterium is sure
to be a crowd pleaser. We are planning some great events to go along
with the racing…so stick around after you’ve won your race. There will
be some live music, great food, refreshments at the “Afterglow” party,
and much more for the entire family!!!

Central Info

There
will be a lot going all weekend in Downtown Mt. Pleasant. At the center
of it all is, well, Race Central. Here you will find the staging for awards and other events throughout the weekend, the VIP tent
where you can rub shoulders with the very same individuals who have made
this event possible, the Registration and Volunteer tent where you can
get area and event information, and the
medical/first aid and public safety tents just in case. An MMR ambulance
will also be on site for the entire weekend. Public restroom facilities
will be conveniently located as well.
When you’re not busy racing or watching others race, be sure to stop by
our food tents as we offer a “Taste of Mt. Pleasant.” Several of our
finest restaurants will be on hand serving up their most popular dishes.
There will also be an area with health & wellness vendors set up to
showcase some of the latest and greatest practices in healthy living,
active lifestyles, and bicycle safety. In addition to all of the above,
there will be some fun activities set up for the kids as well. So be
sure to bring the entire family for an action packed weekend!!!
